Q: What is a travel club?
A: A travel Club is a group of like minded people that like to travel as a group of friends, couples, business colleagues and explore new destinations together and make new friends along the way.
Q: Why would I join a travel club instead of booking trips on my own?
A: Booking your own travel is a great option and many book their own travel every day. There are several reasons to join a travel club; value, meeting new people, traveling with friends, and the biggest reason is that you don’t have to take care of most of the details!
Q: Are you a travel agency?
A: No. However, we are affiliated with an Online Travel Store and have a travel booking engine right on the home page of our website. Our Guests can book a flight, hotel, car as well as concert tickets, sporting events and much more right through our website.
Q: What destinations do you choose?
A: We choose all kinds of destinations. Some are mainstream destinations like California, Las Vegas, Hawaii or Mexico but we also choose more secluded (less known) destinations such as Vancouver Island, Sonoma Valley or Jackson Hole. We choose our destinations based on several variables including season, weather, feedback, activities or events that may be happening in a certain place at a certain time. If you have a great destination you would like to visit, please submit your feedback to info@grandescapes.ca.
Q: What activities do you choose to do on your trips?
A: The possibilities are endless. Wine tastings, sporting events, concerts, racing, yachting, food festivals, poker, skiing, deep sea fishing, culinary, golf, etc... Whatever you can think of, we’ll do it.
Q: Do I need insurance to travel?
A: It’s a very good idea to have travel insurance to cover any unexpected circumstance while traveling. We are very fortunate to have excellent medical coverage in Canada, but most countries will not cover your medical bills while you’re visiting.
Q: Are your trips all inclusive?
A: No. We do our best to include most things you’ll need while you travel including fights, hotels, most transfers, most gratuities, events and sometimes we’ll include some of your meals. You should expect to cover most meals, side trips, some gratuities and other incidentals. We will make it clear in your itinerary and travel documents what is covered and what you should expect to pay for.
